Win + Loss + Loss + Win + Win + Win + Win + Win + Win + Win + Win = Nationals, Evidently.

What the fuck happened??  It’s all a blur.  When I look back and try to explain to people that weren’t there, it doesn’t do the moment justice.  Also, try explaining to people outside of ultimate, that this is one of the best moments of your life.  See what kind of looks you get, it is hilarious.

If you want a recap, go read Kevin’s.  This is just a post about making it to Nationals… and how sweet it is.  I didn’t think we would do it, I said we wouldn’t do it (Saturday night), and then we did it.  My first club series, and I get to go to Nationals.

This season was great for me.  I met so many new people on the team and through the team.  I got to play high level ultimate with very little experience prior to the season.  Seeing great players, that haven’t been able to see the success they deserve, due to lack of team effort or lack of numbers in their area; finally, have made it to the highest level tournament in ultimate today.  I get to play at Nationals, with the players that have taught me and befriended me for the last year that I have been playing.

Maybe that’s why this is so sweet?  How often do you work this hard for something collectively, with some of your best friends, and then realize success.  I am not sure where I will be next year at the beginning of the season, but whoever I play for, will have a hard time replacing what I have now.

  • I’ve been lucky enough to do it a number of times with CLX. I tell you, VBB absolutely had that magic on Sunday. The only way to play is with your friends. Before you add any ballers, you should check out their banter first. Shenannipanties!

  • You had an awesome weekend mr wolfman and I think i speak for all when i say how much you’ve grown as a player in just one year.

keeping attacking those pesky pieces of plastic and we will see you in Florida.

  • Thanks Rob.
