I don’t really feel like going into a long post about everyone on the team etc. so I will talk about myself. I am better at that anyways.
Things that happened:
_I got a lazy-man’s Callahan. This was after being prompted to layout and send a Greatest back inbounds?! I caught it running.
_I sent up only 1 huck this weekend (some said 2 but I disagree with the second one). Also, it was completed, and later I was told by the defense, that “they had a chance to D it.” Go figure.
_I layed out for a D that I felt was unecessary and got angry when I jammed my finger into the ground. At first, I thought that I had broken my finger, I called injury then walked off the field and booted my bag chair. Believe me, the chair had it coming with that smug I’m-so-convenient-as-a-bag-and-chair-combo-look on it’s face. My finger still hurts but the chair lost this battle in the end.
_I had a couple nice catches.
It wasn’t really a star studded weekend for Matt Ellsworth. It was great to have so many VBBs at the tournament though. It looks like we don’t have enough players for Motown though. Not happy about that one, I have been looking forward to the tournament. I may still go and pickup with Ding Wop for a couple games or something.
